The Saviour & The Passover

The Passover Feast is clearly given to Moses by the Creator himself as you can see in Exodus Chapter 11, verses 1-1o; Exodus Chapter 12, verses 1-51.

In chapter 12, verse 5 clearly states that the Passover lamb shall be "without blemish", this is very important because the same thing will be said of the Saviour.

1Peter Chapter 1, verse 19 clearly states that the precious blood of Christ was "as a lamb without blemish"

Matthew Chapter 26, verse 2 clearly states that, "You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified...

1Corinthians Chapter 5, verse 7 clearly states, "...For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.'

John Chapter 1, verse 29 clearly states, "...Behold! The Lamb of GOD who takes away sin from the world...

These New Testament verses clearly show that the Saviour was the Passover sacrifce for humans on Earth. He was a lamb without blemish and male just like the first lamb in Exodus Chapter 12, verse 5.

Nowhere in the bible can you find one passage that connects the Saviour with Easter.
